Dr. Joe Schmidt was born and raised in Lewiston, Idaho. From an early age, it was Dr. Schmidt’s dream to pursue a career in dentistry to serve his friends and those in his community.
When not in the office, Dr. Schmidt can likely be found skiing, mountain biking, at one of the local rivers casting a fly, or having fun with his newborn son Miles.
Beyond outdoor pursuits, Dr. Schmidt’s passion for dentistry is evident in his commitment to ongoing continuing education and offering the best and latest techniques for his patients. Dr. Schmidt is a member of the American Dental Association, Idaho State Dental Association, and Oregon Dental Association.

Betsy earned her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene from Eastern Washington University where she developed a strong foundation in dental science, preventive care, and patient education. With 15 years of experience in the valley, she brings a wealth of knowledge and a commitment to excellence to every patient interaction.
Betsy was born and raised in Lapwai. She now resides in Lewiston with her husband and two boys. In her free time she loves chasing them to all their sporting events and gardening.

I am always nervous going in for a crown. I have had a bad experience in the past. Dr. Schmidt and his assistant Amber made me feel comfortable and the procedure went smoothly and quickly. My crown was made in house, so there was no need for another appt. Amazing technology! The staff is always warm, friendly and professional. I could not be happier with the care.
